Project: 12 story building on a 60' x 105' site across from Tallahassee City Hall

Description: Stacked irregular rectangles (rhomboids). Structurally tricky but doable. And certainly dramatic. Imagine a skyline of these pups.

In this very conservative market, I've found that if you throw something zany in the mix with certain clients, the effect is they raise their bar a tad. That might mean that they would actually consider a building without columns and pediments and cornices and dental molding. Didn't happen in this case but it's always worth a try.
